Abstract

A brief overview of Digital Science’s startup portfolios, and investment strategies for research based startups will be covered in this session. With specific focus on UberResearch, a global database of grant funding and tools for institutional comparisons, categorization, portfolio analysis, and peer review, UberResearch will share case examples from working with research funders, universities and publishers in both the life sciences and humanities. Who funded whom, for what, how much, and when? How do we compare to our peers? Funding trends, mapped to our interests ! What insights this data gives and how it's being used practically.
