China is one of the fastest growing economies in the World; it's not surprising that the education and publishing sectors are also developing at a rapid rate, with statistics like 20% gross increase in university students' year on year for the past 4-5 years, and drastic increases in the number of scientific papers produced and published.

This session will give an inside and outside view of the current state of affairs for journal publishing in China. It will cover developments that are occurring internally within China and help give greater understanding of the challenges being faced there in it's publishing sector. It will also give key strategic advice to publishers and attendees to help understand how they might maximize sales, brand awareness and readership of their own content within China.
